ABOUT THE PROJECT
• Ponda Envocare Limited, SPV of SMS Envocare Limited was formed on 10.01.2020. The project is an Integrated Common Hazardous Waste Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facility (CHWTSDF). This facility will cater the need of entire Goa state for collection, transportation, treatment and dispose the hazardous waste in a scientific and environmentally suitable manner and as per legal requirement of CPCB, MoEF & CC.
• The project is located at Plot No. 5, GIDC Pissurlem, Taluka. Satari Dist. North Goa. The objective of this CHWTSDF project is to make Hazardous waste generating industries in the state of Goa as its members, collect the hazardous wastes from them, and transport the same to the facility, treat and dispose of these wastes at the facility as per the legal and statutory requirement.

- Stabilization Treatment Unit for LAT (Landfill after treatment facility).
- Pre-Processing Facility for Cement Co-Processing waste.
- Hazardous Waste Incineration Facility.
Effluent Treatment Units
- Leachate Collection and Transfer System from various section of plant.
- ZLD based Effluent Treatment Plant with boiler.
- Sewage Treatment Plant.
Utility
- Water Treatment Plant.
- Fire Water Storage Tank and Fire Hydrant System.
- Electrical Infrastructure (HT and LT Switch Yard), Electrical Panel, Plant Lighting and earthing system.
- Plant Instrumentation with PLC with SCADA system.
Other Infrastructure
- Security Cabin and Weigh Bridge.
- Plant Internal Road with Storm Water Drain.
- Rain water collection and Harvesting.
